A 3-year-old girl's skull was fractured after being hit by a line drive during batting practice at Dodger Stadium.

A Dodgers spokesman said the injury was not life-threatening and the girl was scheduled to be operated on Tuesday morning at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles.

The accident occurred around 5:30 p.m. PDT Monday when Dodgers catcher Russell Martin hit a line drive down the left field line.
